Dinara Chernaia

I’m a Los Angeles–based artist and designer originally from Moscow. I graduated from the Stroganov University of Art and Design in Moscow with a Master’s degree in Design.

For over 20 years, I’ve been working in creative fields — as an interior designer, graphic designer, and book illustrator. These experiences helped me develop a refined sense of color, harmony, and composition, and taught me how to find beauty in the smallest details.

Today, I focus on what I truly love — creating art that connects people. I especially enjoy making quick, expressive sketches of people and fashion. There’s something magical about capturing a person’s presence and energy in just a few strokes — a mix of movement, elegance, and emotion.

My inspiration comes from people, style, flowers, and nature. I believe that art brings lightness, joy, and beauty into everyday life — and I love sharing that feeling through my work.
